Motherhood is:
Moments
Some are precious. Some make you cringe. Some just make you smile, and remember how lucky you are to be called Momma.
This one was a combination of all those moments in one. Precious is the look of discovery and accomplishment on her sweet little face. Cringe because I may have a slight case of OCD and the toilet paper I could salvage was not going to be rolled "correctly," (yes, I am fully aware that is ridiculous) but mostly I had to grab the closest camera (which happened to be my iPhone) and snap away. I do have to say that it took her until now (15 months at the time) to realize just how fun it is to unroll the toilet paper, yay. and also that after the 1st time it is still cute, but has to be corrected as inappropriate behavior. Oh the ride, it is moments like this I need to take in daily, to remember that it doesn't matter if the toilet paper is shredded, or if she does it again. It is all part of the journey and I am so grateful to be on it!
(& sorry it was late this week, I was again at drill weekend, and am just home to my computer since earlier in the week)

Here are a few that are in on the fun
Well this is perfect! I can completely relate! I've resorted to keeping all bathroom doors closed most of the day :)
ReplyDeleteI love your 52 project! These are so precious, and will be such a gift to both you and Tenley in years to come. She's a little cutie, and a ton of fun it looks like!
ReplyDeleteHahaha! She looks like she is in toy heaven! I definitely learned that I need to keep the bathroom door closed when she starts to explore. Thanks for linking up this week!
