So Big, 2 Months Old!

Our Little Miss Tenley is getting so big (or at least to Mommy anyway)  She is doing absolutely wonderful and makes us smile and laugh every single day.  We had her 2 month check up on the 3rd and couldn't have asked for better.

Our appointment was at 8:15 am and Tim had to work at the FD that day so it was up to us girls to get there on time. I was dreading it because it was also her first shots...fortunately Daddy surprised us and walked in to our room just as we were getting started with the appointment.  She weighed in at 11 lbs 3 ozs and was 22 3/4 inches long! That part of the appointment went fine and then came the shots...THANK GOD Tim was there because I couldn't even watch and was sobbing before they even stuck her, and the second they did and I heard her cry, I cried harder! Needless to say she was fine long before I was! We have decided that we are going to spread out her shots so that her little body isn't subject to so much at once.  This time she got her Hep b and DTap. That was 3 viruses at once, and the max we will do.

She is still sleeping through the night (consistently since about 6 to 6.5 weeks, we are spoiled!) I feed her late evening, around 9:15-9:45 and then it is bed time. She (so far) has gone down with no problems at all.  We are in the process of moving bed time up, and want to get it to about 8:30.  We aren't ready to drop a feeding yet so we are slowly moving it.  Right now we wake her at 7:00 a.m. each morning to eat then she goes back to sleep until between 9:30 and 10:00, which I am glad so at least she is still getting 10-12 hours of sleep a night.  After the 7:00 feeding we eat at 10, 1, 4, 7, and 9:30ish (it was 10).  She is on such a great schedule and stick to feeding times pretty much within about 10-15 minutes.  She is a champ!  I read the book Babywise, and have to say we love it.  I saw it recommended from a friend on here who also like it and Tenley has adjusted so well to being a "Babywise" baby.  It makes our days so predictable and easy to plan, and it takes so much stress out of our day to day actions.

But enough of that here is what you all really want to see: PICTURES!

She melts my heart every day!

So here is one of the 1 month pictures since I failed at getting those blogged..she was 9 lbs 11 ozs at 1 month! She has changed and filled out so much!
